What does 100 Million Dollars Buy?

It buys you the best player in football.

J.J. Watt should be the 2014 NFL MVP.

The fourth year defensive end out of Wisconsin has arguably carried his team to at least a chance at the playoffs.

Houston recently lost quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick due to a fractured leg and will likely have to go with an unproven Ryan Mallett. Mallett will need to get the ball to a rarely healthy Arian Foster and find the now-explosive DeAndre Hopkins on passing situations.

The team has seven wins. You can argue three of them were because of Watt.

Watt had an 80 yard interception return for a touchdown in a 23-17 win over the Bills

And two brilliant touchdown catches propelled the Texans to wins over the Titans and Browns

It's been awhile since we've seen a player excel at both ends of the ball. Arizona Cardinals Head Coach Bruce Arians has said he has offensive plays for star cornerback Patrick Peterson but hasn't utilized him on offense yet.

Head Coach Bill O'Brien has found a way to use Watt's insane athleticism and talent. Watt has a knack for sacking the QB with 16.5 sacks on the season including eight of those coming with a three man rush or fewer. He knows how to find the football with three forced fumbles. And the guy can obviously catch the ball from his 80 yard interception for a touchdown, and his three receiving touchdowns on the season.

The Texans will need some serious luck in order to get the last wild card spot, but stranger things have happened.

O'Brien used the teams 1st overall pick on a guy who has only started two games and still has the team at 7-7 through 14 games. He has flipped a 2-14 team from last year into a potentially above-500 team with the help of J.J. Watt, the future 2014 NFL MVP...
